2011 CML South Sound Club Championships

March 27th - 31st

The South Sound Squash Club played host this past week to the 2011 Cayman Islands National Squash Championships. Events included singles, doubles and vets categories. It was a full weekend of great Squash action, with Marlene West (3rd title) capturing the Women’s Open title defeating Alison Strobridge in straight games. The bronze medal went to Chantelle Day. David Finch (first title and runner up in 2007) claimed the Men’s Open title defeating Gabe Rabess in 5 games. The bronze medal went to Alex Frazer. This is the final preparation for local Caymanian players prior to the upcoming Cayman Open being held April 3 – 9.
